Tug of War Rope Hire

A full Sized Tug of War competition rope, with complete markings. A test of strength, stamina and teamwork. Complies with tug of war association rules. The object of the game is to grip the rope and use the strength of the legs to pull the opposing team over the winning line!

Tug of War Hire Information and Suitability

Our tug of war rope is available for hire for serious competitions as it complies with the Tug of War Association specification. It is also ideal to hire for fun days, events, sports days and corporate event hire and team building.

The official game of tug of war allows for eight persons per team. For fun events hire it is possible for more players to take part but there should be a reasonable gap each between each player.

It is important to observe safety guidelines, which will be provided in writing at the time of hire.

Whilst the are no strict age restrictions for fun events opposing teams should be of similar ages and sizes and younger children should be supervised.

The tug of war rope can be supplied with other suitable hire items as part of a sports challenge package which can include Gladiator Duel, Bungee Run and Sumo Suits.

Tug of War Hire Requiremets and Set Up

Dimensions and Space Required

Tug of War rope is 36mm diameter, 35 metres in length. Allow approx 50 metres in length and 4 metres in width.

Set Up

Tug of War is normally played on a grassed/similar surface. Other synthetic surfaces may be suitable ie astroturf.

Delivery

Tug of War is normally offered for hire as part of a package.
