Whats Included with Skittle Alley Hire

 Each skittle alley comes with 9 wooden skittle pins and 3 bowling balls. The skittle alleys incorporate one fixed side and a ball return gulley on the opposite side, together with a catch box and foam back cushion. This enables the balls to be returned safely and reduces the volume of noise whilst bowling.  

We can also supply risk assessments( where requested), scoresheets, skittle rules and operating instructions, fundraising information (where relevant) and a bowling demonstration. 

We can also supply shorter bowling lanes where space is limited. Our skittle alleys can be used by persons of all ages and abilities, including disabled and special needs. We recommend 30 persons bowling per skittle alley.

The object of skittles is very similar to ten pin bowling. The skittles are placed on the last section of the skittles alley, where marked, and each player has two or three attempts to knock as many skittles down as possible. We supply three bowling balls, but two can be used if prefered. Skittles can be played individually or in teams.

Our skittle alleys have been built to fit in all commercial premises..

We deliver  skittle alleys to Schools and Universities in the Midlands and throughout the UK for various occasions including teachers birthday parties, retirement parties, Christmas parties, end of term/leaving parties, University Balls, student reward days and PTA fundraising events. We can set up your skittle alleys in a main hall or a  classroom.

Skittle Alley Hire Packages

Skittle Alley Hire and Traditional Games Packages

We recommend about 30 persons per bowling alley. As an alternative to supplying additional bowling alleys we can supply an additional games package as an add on hire. Choose from bagatelle, shove halfpenny, quoits, shuffleboard, shut the box and rollerball. A games package is ideal where the venue can only accomodate one skittle alley as it provides entertainment for those waiting to bowl or who may not wish to bowl. 

Skittle Alley Hire and Fun Food Machine/Cart

For your corporate event why not hire a candy floss or/and popcorn machine. Also suitable for private parties, schools and universities.

Indoor Sports Package

Hire a skittle alley with Crazy Golf, games, giant dart board , football shoot out or golf challenge to create a sports package.

  

Dimensions and Space Required

A total bowling area of approximately 5ft x 32ft is required per skittles alley. We can also provide  shorter skittle alleys for hire requiring  5ft x 26ft of space.

Set Up

Skittle alleys are available for hire indoors or outdoors. However, we will only consider setting up outdoors if there is a substantial marquee. We cannot set up a skiitle alley near windows or glass due to the possibility of damage from stray balls and skittles.

None required.

Delivery

We will need some idea of the approximate distance from our vehicle to the set up area, whether there are any steps or lifts and on what floor the set up area is.
